About the role
- Cook - Full-Time Kern River Transitional Care Center Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Kern River Transitional Care Care Center is seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Time Cook to join our dietary team.
- The Cook is responsible for preparing tasteful, nutritious meals in accordance with prepared menus, portion control guidelines, special diet orders, and facility standards.
- This position plays an important role in ensuring residents receive safe, appetizing meals while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
- Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner.
