Requirements
- Periodic travel may be required to support transactions and stakeholder engagement (primarily within North America).
- You must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Supporting the evaluation of acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities.
- Preparing clear, well‑structured analysis and summary materials for internal review.
- Supporting the coordination of due diligence activities across Finance, Legal, Operations, Strategy, Regulatory, and external advisors.
- Reviewing diligence materials and identifying key commercial and financial risks.
- Assisting with transaction documentation, schedules, and tracking of deliverables.
- Supporting execution activities through to transaction close.
- Supporting knowledge sharing, process improvements, and best practices within the Corporate Development team.
- 2-5 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, project finance, management consulting, or commercial strategy.
Compensation
- 130,000 - 165,000 annual salary
- This position is eligible for Capital Power's comprehensive benefits package, including health care benefits, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and an annual incentive program, in accordance with company policies.
