Responsibilities
- Review resource usage and implement cost optimization practices and FinOps initiatives across teams.
- Support and guide team members, sharing best practices to build technical competence across the collective.
Requirements
- As a Senior Cloud / DevOps Specialist, you take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and platform solutions with a high degree of autonomy.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, or related technical fields.
- Proven hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, Ansible, etc.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and deployment strategies for complex systems.
- Strong understanding of networking, RBAC, security best practices, and cloud architecture patterns.
- Proficiency with observability tools such as ELK, Azure Monitor, or equivalent, and operational excellence practices.
- Proven experience designing and implementing containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, etc.) for complex system deployments.
- Occasional in-office presence may be required during the year (for events or team meetings, for example).
Skills
- Define and evolve standards, guidelines, and best practices for cloud deployments and architecture patterns.
- Evaluate and advise on new technologies, procurement options, and architectural proposals to align with SRE goals.
