About the role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Metal Fabrication Technician II (Tech II) to join our prototyping team.
- The ideal candidate will be experienced in fabrication, metrology, and set up and operation of machines including laser/punches, routers, and brakes.
- Tech II responsibilities include the manufacture of metal parts, evaluation of drawings, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to document and fix errors.
- Maintain production equipment, and a safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
Requirements
- Bending: Must be able to bend, squat, and climb.
- Perform other duties as required.
- 3-5 years of fabrication experience; preferably in mixed metal fabrication.
- 1-2 years of experience, or training in document control.
- Forklift certified.
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $32 - $45 per hour, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
