Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure using AWS (ECS, RDS, and related services)
  • Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, secure software delivery
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support fast, safe, and reliable deployments
  • Document infrastructure and share knowledge to improve long-term maintainability
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles
  • Strong experience with AWS services, particularly ECS and RDS
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or Coralogix
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, reliability, and performance optimization
  • Proficiency with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or container orchestration tools
  • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration

Compensation

  • Remote-first flexibility to work where you work best, with Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver preferred for this role.
  • Flexible PTO and competitive pay, because work-life balance matters
  • $ 120,000 to $ 160,00 CAD
  • Fullscript shares salary ranges to support transparency and help candidates make informed decisions.
