About the role
- Engineer, Quality Assurance to join our Analytics & Metrology team.
- This position will be based in our Burnet facility.
- In this role, you will provide quality oversight for materials characterization, analytical methods, and laboratory systems that directly impact customer acceptance, yield, and device performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support investigations (deviations, OOS/OOT, contamination events)
- Drive continuous improvement in analytical robustness and quality culture yielding reduced variability, improved testing stability, and ultimately improved testing cycle times
- Drive analytical testing stability and improvement through the use of, and implementation of, statistical process control
- Support customer, ISO, and internal audits
- Support the r eview and approv al of analytical methods, validations, and method changes
- Own, maintain, and drive improvements in laboratory quality systems (ISO 17025 / ISO 9001)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 5 + years of experience in an analytical lab, quality engineering, or QA role
- Experience with analytical method validation and investigations
- Hands on experience with applicable quality tools such as pareto, FMEA's, SPC/SQC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, design of experiments, cause and effect diagrams, 8D problem solving methodology
