About the role

You'll be responsible for creating an environment where engineers can do their best work-balancing execution, technical excellence, and long-term sustainability.
In this role, you'll focus on growing individuals and teams while ensuring reliable delivery and continuous improvement.
You'll help set technical direction, establish healthy engineering practices, and remove obstacles that slow teams down.

Own delivery planning and execution, including risk management and stakeholder communication.
This role sits at the intersection of people leadership and technical strategy, partnering closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to turn goals into well-delivered outcomes.
Collaborate with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to build a product that our customers love.
Build a strong feedback culture focused on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
Effectively collaborate with Product and other stakeholders to drive decisions and execution.

3+ years managing software engineering teams.
Track record of hiring, mentoring, and performance-managing engineers across levels.
Experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis, MySQL, Postgres, and Django.
Ad platform API expertise (Facebook, Google, Pinterest, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps.
7+ years total engineering experience working with Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
