About the role

  • The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance, operations, projects, and technical teams to improve equipment reliability, safety, and operational performance.
  • To be successful in this role, we are looking for a safety-focused and collaborative engineer with a passion for improving the reliability and performance of electrical systems.
  • Someone who applies sound engineering judgment to solve complex technical challenges while balancing operational priorities, asset reliability, and long-term maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, Senior Engineer, Electrical, will support the reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical systems across our mobile mining fleet.
  • This role is responsible for providing engineering support for electric shovels, drills, substations, trailing cable systems, pit power distribution, and associated electrical infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.

Compensation

  • 123, 000 - 152, 000 CAD /year The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
