About the role
- They will also work with other members of the Events team to plan, set-up, and execute outside events at Nymeo Field.
Responsibilities
- The Frederick Keys Community Outreach and Stadium Events Intern is a part-time internship designed only for current university students who will be receiving college credit for participation in this internship.
- They will receive the opportunity to work with experienced events and marketing teams, build a strong professional network, and engage with our fans within the community.
- The Community Outreach and Stadium Events Intern will collaborate with other members of the Keys Sales and Marketing team to plan, set-up, and attend off-site events.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to uphold company and Attain customer service standards
- Individual must be energetic, enthusiastic, and a dedicated team player
- Ability to work event nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Gain knowledge and experience in management and responsibilities of event management and execution
- The Community Outreach and Stadium Events Intern will be gaining real-world experience with responsibilities within the organization.
- College sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students working for academic credit in Sport Management, Marketing, Communications, or similar field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and strong organization skills
- Eager to listen, learn, and receive constructive feedback
- Promote the Keys at various events and promotions in the community through the distribution of marketing materials.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of community events
- Assist with social media coverage of outside public appearances and events
- Assist with the development of outreach strategy
- Assist with administrative tasks related to event planning
Nice to have
- Previous experience in event planning or community outreach is a plus, but not required
