About the role
- Banner House at T Bar M is seeking an experienced and motivated Sushi Sous Chef to join our culinary team.
- The ideal candidate is passionate about Japanese cuisine, has excellent knife skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality food while supporting daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation, seafood handling, and Japanese culinary techniques.
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one before employment).
Nice to have
- Minimum 5 years of sushi chef experience (Sushi Sous Chef experience preferred).
- Leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
