About the role
- We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis.
- In this role, you will evaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, helping them achieve their highest level of function, independence, and quality of life.
- Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy needs in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on resident goals and progress
- Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control and safety protocols
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, cognitive support, swallowing precautions, aspiration prevention, and maintenance programs
- Recommend and facilitate appropriate adaptive equipment and interventions to support resident function and safety
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and professional colleagues
Requirements
- CPR certification if required by licensure or facility policy

Nice to have
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Compensation
- $45k-$50k
