About the role

  • - Perform daily operational maintenance and troubleshooting for cloud server and bare-metal environments, escalating issues as needed.
  • - Troubleshoot operating system issues, including reboots and OS-level problems, across cloud and bare-metal environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily operational maintenance and troubleshooting for cloud server and bare-metal environments, escalating issues as needed.
  • Partner with cloud vendors and internal teams to diagnose and resolve server failures and infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain accurate records in ticketing, asset management, and tracking systems, and submit requests such as RMAs or vendor escalations.
  • Support cloud fleet operations and day-to-day infrastructure management tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and run simple Shell/Bash or Python scripts.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, MAC addressing, subnetting, DNS, and VLANs.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of automated OS deployment concepts such as PXE or provisioning pipelines.
  • Exposure to automation or infrastructure management tools such as Ansible.

Compensation

  • $66,120.00 - $104,400.00 USD (Salary)
