About the role
- Collects, prepares, cleans, and stores glassware and other lab equipment.
- Stocks and prepares media, reagents, chemical solutions and stains.
- Prepares reagents and solutions specific to the science area assigned, using established standards.
Responsibilities
- Implements new or modified policies and procedures.
- Under direct supervision, provides technical support for both the teaching laboratories and the Lab Manager for assigned program.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic laboratory safety protocols,
- Ability to be accurate and detailed oriented, use sound judgement, multi-task, be people oriented, and work independently as well as with others.
Skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills,
Compensation
- $15.45/hour | All salary calculations start at the minimum salary and will be based on candidate's education and experience | Open until filled.
