About the role

  • This position will support the client's Artificial Intelligence Team in AI strategy development and in managing a broad AI project portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an organizational and operational strategy that defines how the AI organization integrates with existing IT and business governance, management, and execution processes.
  • Develop a stakeholder engagement and communications strategy for AI across the enterprise organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Support regular AI Team communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document operating processes, workflows, and decision criteria to support continuity and long-term ownership.
  • Establish and maintain organized, accessible documentation repositories that support the ongoing operation of the AI Team and its stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain both programmatic and technical documentation
  • Work with cross-functional teams with diverse technical skill sets to support successful performance across operations and projects.
  • document action items, follow up on direction, action items, questions, documentation, etc.
  • Work with Technical Leads to prioritize projects in sprint planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 11 years of project management experience, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience writing project charters and project schedules
  • Self-starter and quick learner with lots of initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems with a flexible and creative approach, manage complex tasks, and adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong customer-facing skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated hands-on experience using Microsoft Project, Planner Premium (including portfolio management). Visio, Office Suite, and SharePoint.
  • Basic Compensation: $145,000 - $155,000 yearly salary

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience performing backlog management, work specification, Scrum facilitation, and lessons learned.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI, and large language model (LLM) concepts, with experience supporting, managing, or implementing AI-enabled products, projects, or business solutions preferred.
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated hands-on experience in using Agile project management tools and methods.
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated hands-on experience using Microsoft Project, Planner Premium (including portfolio management).
  • Visio, Office Suite, and SharePoint.

Compensation

  • $145,000 - $155,000 yearly salary
  • The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting.
