About the role
- They help minimize maintenance costs, improve aesthetics, and increase energy efficiency.
- Through our brands Hempel, Neogard, Crown Paints, Wattyl and Farrow & Ball, we provide solutions for the Marine, Energy, Infrastructure and Decorative industries.
- This position requires the ability to work in a laboratory environment which can include solvents, dust and other chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily QC tests for production batches and incoming raw materials per established test procedures and work instructions accurately and timely to meet delivery commitment
- Develop batch adjustments to meet Hempel quality standards
- Promptly document color data
- Maintain and store color draw downs in database
Requirements
- Working knowledge of basic chemistry and algebra
- Minimum 1 year of analytical lab or paint experience
- English language proficiency
- Ability to operate in a cross-functional atmosphere
- Update batch status and enter results into software as required
Nice to have
- ERP system experience and color-matching software preferred
