About the role
- Purpose within the Organization: The purpose of this position is to assist in the setup, operation and tear down of AV (Audio Video) equipment used in events occurring on campus.
- This position has various shifts and high demand for availability.
- Candidates will need to have certain times and days available in order to qualify for this position.
Responsibilities
- Support events throughout the main campus and 27th avenue locations.
Requirements
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs individually, or 70 lbs team lift.
- Ability to work with a variety of people.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and think under pressure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a variety of hours - including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work all commencements in the spring and winter.
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Positive and personable attitude.
