About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs to assist team members in obtaining QA certifications.
  • Perform ultrasonic testing (UT) and other non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to detect and report on material flaws.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of certifications and training activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve quality-related issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years welding/fitting experience as a top welder/fitter in a fabrication setting
  • Proven experience in training and certifying team members in QA practices
  • Assure all required grinding is complete

Nice to have

  • UT, MT, PT or ability and commitment to obtain within 24 months
  • CWB Welding Supervisor (Preferred)
  • Welder qualifications preferred: D1.1, 1G, & 2F
