About the role

Overwatch Construction Management is looking for an experienced Sr.
Resident Engineer to oversee transportation/transit construction projects and serve as a key liaison between contractors, clients, and project management teams.
Salary Range: $200,000-$215,000 Project Start Date: July 1, 2026 Project Duration: 24 months Full-time, on-site position.

Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Prepare daily reports, documentation, and maintain project records.
Support change order management and claims resolution process.

Monitor project progress, schedule, and budget, reporting status and issues to project managers.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and site-related issues.
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience as a Resident Engineer or similar role in construction management, preferrably on transit projects Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, and standards.
Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working on large-scale civil, infrastructure, or commercial projects is preferred.
