About the role
- You will be a key player in helping Fort Drum achieve its ambitious energy and water conservation goals, contributing directly to the installation's sustainability and operational efficiency.
- Your work will have a direct and significant impact on resource management, cost savings, and environmental stewardship for this vital military installation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement actions/projects supporting facility maintenance, repair, and construction, incorporating energy and water conservation measures.
- Provide design review comments and project/program management support.
- Support planning, development, execution, and analysis of projects related to:
Requirements
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) as required.
- Four-year engineering degree (preferably mechanical or electrical) and/or PE registration with 5+ years in energy management.
- Environmental Science, business, or related degree with 8+ years in energy management.
- Two-year technical degree with 10+ years in energy management.
- No college degree with 12+ years in energy management.
- Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and other energy-intensive equipment.
Compensation
- Starting $85,000.00/year to $95,000.00/year
- Voluntary Coverages (Accident, Hospital and Critical Illness)

- Experience with the Army's annual energy reporting requirements (AEWRS).
