About the role

  • You will be a key player in helping Fort Drum achieve its ambitious energy and water conservation goals, contributing directly to the installation's sustainability and operational efficiency.
  • Your work will have a direct and significant impact on resource management, cost savings, and environmental stewardship for this vital military installation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement actions/projects supporting facility maintenance, repair, and construction, incorporating energy and water conservation measures.
  • Provide design review comments and project/program management support.
  • Support planning, development, execution, and analysis of projects related to:

Requirements

  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) as required.
  • Four-year engineering degree (preferably mechanical or electrical) and/or PE registration with 5+ years in energy management.
  • Environmental Science, business, or related degree with 8+ years in energy management.
  • Two-year technical degree with 10+ years in energy management.
  • No college degree with 12+ years in energy management.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and other energy-intensive equipment.

Compensation

  • Starting $85,000.00/year to $95,000.00/year
  • Voluntary Coverages (Accident, Hospital and Critical Illness)

  • Experience with the Army's annual energy reporting requirements (AEWRS).

Visa & Work Authorization
