About the role
- We're looking for an Associate Scientist, Protein Characterization on the Biotherapeutics Characterization and Formulation team to help us expand what's possible for patients with serious diseases.
- Reporting to the Senior Director, Research, you'll play a critical part in supporting Insmed's innovative biologics pipeline from early discovery through development candidate nomination.
- Apply standard procedures to assess biotherapeutic stability as a function of formulation and process and facilitate tech transfer activities.

- Perform protein analytical techniques to inform on optimization of formulation and process to support development candidate nomination.

Requirements
- You are or you also have:
- Experience analyzing protein molecules by standard analytical and/or biophysical techniques
- Familiarity with experiment documentation using electronic lab notebook
- Experience working on successful teams and programs
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required
- Individuals must demonstrate the ability to interact successfully in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace
Nice to have
- Experience using automated chromatography workstations (e.g., AKTA FPLCs) and employing multi-dimensional purification strategies is a plus.
- A record of scientific publication employing the skills listed above is a plus.

- $103,000.00-131,000.00 Annual
- Insmed will only pay a fee to agencies if a formal agreement between Insmed and the agency has been established.
