About the role

The Transactional Auditor plays a crucial role by conducting a wide-range of audits, including audits of licensed operators to determine statutory and procedural compliance.

Ability to work with sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality with appropriate discretion.
Level II, III - Ability to perform a wide range of audit functions and perform highly independent work.
It also includes entry-level auditors who generally perform such work in a training status to build their skills in completing various types of audits and reviews.

The selected candidate must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel.
State vehicles may be available, but reliable transportation may be required for local travel.
It should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all required duties, responsibilities and skills.
Ability to be an active participant in various types of audits and complete required reports and comprehend and carry out complex accounting, auditing and fiscal procedures.

The preferred minimum qualifications for this position are:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or public administration, or related field
PLUS one (1) year of bookkeeping, auditing, accounting, or similar field;
PLUS two (2) years of bookkeeping, auditing, accounting, or similar field;

Knowledge and understanding of modern office methods and procedures, including computer technology related to accounting systems.
Ability to be an active participant in the development and evaluation of program objectives and procedures.
Ability to review and analyze accounting records and business practices;

This position has an annual rate of $47,379.07.
Our employees receive 11 paid holidays, 15 days of paid annual leave, which increases with every 5 years of service, and 15 days of paid sick leave.
