About the role
- This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients within the energy, industrial, real estate and government services markets.
- This is a full-time hybrid position located in our San Diego or Costa Mesa, CA office.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of project work and proposals on large and/or complex multi-disciplinary projects to align with company-defined business objectives and client expectations in partnership with the project team.
- Regularly coach, mentor, and direct staff in the quality execution of projects and preparation of analyses, technical reports, and other deliverables, with a focus on developing skills to support their professional growth.
- Leverage your understanding of codes, regulations, and professional standards of practice associated with project work in your area of expertise to align project scopes with client objectives and regulatory requirements to deliver superior client value.
- Lead the performance of geotechnical evaluations, design efforts, design and contract package development, construction procurement support, and possess the ability to function as Engineer of Record on geotechnical design projects.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related field.
- 2 years of Project Management (including financials) in an engineering consulting environment.
- Demonstrate strong technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice to assigned tasks.
Skills
- West Coast Seismic experience.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and refresher updates desirable.
