Responsibilities
- The Machine Operator operates the CNC machine to cut and build rollers, sets up and operates a variety of machines.
Requirements

Responsibilities Position Summary: The Machine Operator operates the CNC machine to cut and build rollers, sets up and operates a variety of machines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Measuring and setting up machines to manufacture a high volume of parts Performing machine shop and mold press operations to support Assembly Detecting defective materials and questionable conditions and reports to the manager Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition Following safety regulations Performing preventative maintenance on machines Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures. Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction. Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of 1 year of related experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Ability to use a band saw, hand tools and calipers and perform milling, turning, drilling, taping, deburring, molding, and all bench operations Ability to read blueprints Basic math skills Knowledge of standard and metric measurements Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques Self-motivated and detail-oriented Team orientation Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language ADA Requirements: Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time. Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
