About the role

  • Utilize Microsoft Office 365 to prepare case set-up and custodian legal holds and work with IT for searches and data exports.
  • Discovery: Collect and coordinate electronic and traditional discovery responses and requests for defined matters.
  • Coordinate interviews and data collection with internal departments regarding discovery responses, third-party subpoenas and other legal requests for defined matters.

Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform in-house training sessions and coordinate training sessions with litigation hold vendor.
  • Create and manage all defined litigation files.

Nice to have

  • A minimum of 5 years paralegal experience required.
  • Both law firm and in-house experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Paralegal certificate required.
  • In depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles

  • Ability to analyze and interpret statutes, regulations and contracts.
  • In depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles; strongly desire in-depth knowledge of medical terminology.

Compensation

  • POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing paralegal support to the attorneys in the Law Department with matters related to professional liability, automobile liability, general liability, aviation and worker's compensation insured litigation matters.
