About the role
- The Department of Medicine and the Division of Cardiology at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine (Chicago) are seeking a full-time eligible Electrophysiology Faculty member.
- As an academic faculty member, resident and fellow education is an integral component of the position.
Responsibilities
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Duties Responsibilities Ideal candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited cardiology and electrophysiology fellowship program and hold board-certification (or be board-eligible) in electrophysiology.
- A focus on clinical electrophysiology is required and experience with a full range of device implants, ablation techniques, lead extraction and/or left atrial appendage occlusion procedures is desirable.
Skills
- The individual should have the clinical, scholarly, educational, and personal skills to contribute to an active academic division.
