About the role

  • The Electrode Coating Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining electrode coating equipment used in the manufacturing of battery electrodes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process measurements and quality checks using gauges, microscopes, and metrology tools.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to yield, throughput, safety, and process capability.
  • Maintain compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, chemical handling protocols, and clean manufacturing practices.
  • Identify and maintain accurate inventory of supplies and materials needed for production.
  • Maintain organized work areas according to 5S standards.
  • Ability to write and maintain accurate SOP's, work instructions and technical documentation.

  • Ability to work in a diverse, intellectually-challenging, and rapid-paced team

Nice to have

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two-year technical or Associate Degree preferred, especially in manufacturing, industrial technology, or engineering technology.
