About the role

  • Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) is seeking to fill adjunct professor positions for ERAU's dual enrollment Aerospace Career Academy programs in various high school locations throughout the state of Florida.
  • Adjunct faculty are needed in the following disciplines:
  • Aviation Business & Transportation Principles

Responsibilities

  • Establish and support elementary and middle school aerospace feeder programs.

Requirements

  • Required Education and Qualifications:
  • In addition to the above requirements, credentialing in the following subject areas require additional certification:
  • AS 121 (Private Pilot Operations) - Instructor must hold an Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) certification, Basic Ground Instructor (BGI) or a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)

Nice to have

  • Preferred candidate will have a Master's degree in Aeronautical Science, Aviation Business, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Programming
  • Or a Master's degree out of field, with 18 graduate hours in subject area
  • Or a Master's degree out of field, with documented professional experience, military service and/or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) licensing.
