About the role

Responsibilities
- Document criminal and related non-criminal incidents, using established reporting procedures and forms. Prepare written cases for University Community Standards and the Criminal Justice system when necessary.

Nice to have
- Associate degree or higher in a Criminal Justice or related area preferred.
Skills
- Communication/Language: Basic: Ability to read, listen to and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write and communicate simple correspondence.
- Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Certificates & Licenses
- Must become IDACS certified.
- Meet physical requirements set by the ILETB.
- Other Requirements
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Must have no felony convictions or domestic violence convictions or pending criminal cases.
- A strong commitment to customer service.
Compensation
- Officers must complete the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board Certification and maintain their certification annually.
