Requirements

  • The MPD Supervisors are required to supervise field installation and operation of Managed Pressure Drilling jobs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate Opla Energy's proprietary Software.
  • Fill out and submit all required documentation including safety meetings, daily tickets, JHA's and permits.
  • Ensure Equipment is kept clean and functional, inspect for wear and perform maintenance as required.
  • At least 3+ years of direct MPD experience.

Nice to have

  • MPD processes, equipment capabilities, and downhole knowledge.
  • 5+ years of direct MPD experience preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills.
  • Must be able to walk and stand throughout a 12-hour day.
  • Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs. from a floor or table position to chest high using a proper lifting technique.
