Requirements
- Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Nice to have
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff while supporting team development
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and electrical engineering best practices, and contribute to research and innovation efforts
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, required
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required
- 7 years of experience minimum required, 8 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
- Adept in the technical aspects of one's discipline
- advanced proficiency in technical and analytical skills including proficiency of principles of circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics as they relate to electrical systems
- Knowledge of Illumination Engineering Society (IES) Standards and reference material resources such as NFPA Link, TechStreet, MadCAD, and Facility Guideline Institution (FGI)
