Responsibilities
- Collaborate with tax managers and partners to resolve complex tax issues and provide strategic tax planning advice.
- Manage client relationships, particularly with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses, across various industries including technology and real estate.
- The firm's culture emphasizes autonomy and open communication, allowing experienced tax professionals to collaborate directly with partners and senior managers while navigating a broad spectrum of tax matters-from partnerships and corporations to estates and trusts.
Requirements
- CPA license with a minimum of five years' experience in public accounting tax roles.
- Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing tax returns for partnerships, corporations, pass-through entities, estates, and trusts.
- Strong understanding of California estate and trust taxation, including Form 706, for at least one of the openings.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior leadership and team members.
- Experience with CCH Axcess Tax software or similar tax preparation platforms.
