- As a Traffic Control Person (TCP), you will ensure the safety and flow of traffic in work zones.
Requirements
- Completed required documentation for due diligence and compliance with acts, regulations, standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) required by WorkSafeBC regulations and any additional, site-specific PPE as required by contractors.
Skills
- Valid BC TCP Certification issues by a regulatory body.
- Effective communication and de-escalation skills.
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and responsiveness standards.
- Ensures accountability - Holding self and others to accountable to meet commitments.
- Values Differences - Recognizes the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.
Compensation
- Excellent total compensation package and vacation pay paid out on every cheque.
Benefits
- Attends health and safety toolbox/tailgate meetings as required to discuss matters related to the worksite and work to conduct.
- Reports to dispatch manager or health and safety advisor any health and safety matters, noncompliance issues, or conflicts with any employee or direction from the contractor.
- Signing bonus of $500 for experienced TCPs ( terms and conditions apply ).
- A highly experienced and knowledgeable Health & Safety department dedicated to your safety on site.
