Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise commercial electricians, apprentices, and electrical crews on active construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications while mentoring and developing apprentices
  • Proven ability to plan work, coordinate manpower and materials, and maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards on commercial construction projects
  • Bopat Electric is hiring experienced Commercial Electrical Foremen to lead commercial electrical construction projects throughout Maryland.
  • This position is ideal for Journeyman Electricians and Commercial Electricians with proven leadership experience who are ready to lead crews, coordinate field operations, and drive projects to successful completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience, including experience leading electricians, apprentices, and field crews
  • Experience overseeing commercial electrical projects ranging from $100K to $2M+
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, including conduit, switchgear, panelboards, power distribution, lighting, motor controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams
  • Strong understanding of NEC requirements, commercial construction practices, and job site safety standards

Nice to have

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
