About the role
- The ELD teacher reports to the School Leader and will facilitate push-in and pull-out lessons using research-based ELD standards-aligned curriculum.

- The outcomes our students deserve necessitate continuously strong teaching from the time our students enter kindergarten until they graduate from college.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an open line of communication with families
- Work to maintain a positive culture on campus by building strong relationships with students and staff members
- At KIPP Public Schools Northern California, there is a need for intensive English Language support for all of our multilingual learners.
- Possess strong content area knowledge and skills building relationships with students, families, and communities
Nice to have
- Hold a B.A/B.S degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Meet one of the following eligibility requirements:
- Hold a valid teaching credential in the subject of your desired role, or
- Eligibility for a Provisional Internship Permit, or
- Eligibility for a Short Term Staff Permit
- Experience as an educator teaching Black and Brown students for one or more years (preferred)
- Spanish or Vietnamese speaking (preferred)
