Requirements
- Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed.
- If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
- Participates in and completes company required training programs.
- What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- For internal candidates ONLY: 1 year of relevant Operator experience at the site is required.
- Internal candidate must have demonstrated a strong capability to learn, understand and troubleshoot in assigned unit processes.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Must have a level of proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
Nice to have
- Associate degree in Process Operating Technology from an accredited institution is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant operating experience in a process industry such as petrochemical, refinery, or pulp & paper is required
- some console operating experience during that time is preferred.
