About the role

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in all trades and be very customer service focused.
  • Some duties will include cleaning grounds, offices, common areas, completing maintenance service requests, appliance repairs, painting, apartment turnovers, taking emergency calls and more!

Responsibilities

  • It is the Maintenance Lead's duty to anticipate, identify and correct any and all problems involving the property and to implement procedures that will prevent such problems.

Requirements

  • Position requires at least two years' experience in property maintenance or equivalent field.
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent Training (If not, must have 5 years maintenance experience.)
  • Knowledge of Basic Mechanical Concepts
  • Heating and Air Conditioning and other State Regulated Certifications where required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds without difficulty.
  • Appropriate attire must be worn for this position.
  • Moderate to low overtime required throughout the year.
  • Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property!
  • Experience in all trades (plumbing, electrical, a/c, etc.) a must!
  • Customer service attitude, flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment are key to making this position a success!
  • Reliable transportation is a MUST!
  • Availability to work on-call rotation.
