- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) [Required]
Skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Comprehensive knowledge and application of nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy
- General knowledge of nutrient analysis, word processing, e-mail, and spreadsheet software
- Avails self to staff on units as the nutrition expert
- Participates in Quality Improvement activities
- Attends interdisciplinary meetings and rounds on assigned units as scheduled unless valid excuse demonstrated
- Attends assigned team and/or committee meetings unless valid excuse demonstrated
- Assists in regulatory survey preparation when applicable
- Reviews and/or updates department resource/reference materials when applicable or [Required]
- When confronted with barriers to meeting patient care standards, improves process by planning and implementing action steps
- Assures that care delivered to each patient is in accordance with established standards
