About the role
- The Data Center Technician will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations.
- This position involves hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repair, and may include participation in an on-call rotation.
- This is a salaried, 100% onsite role at one of our Data Center locations.
Responsibilities
- Our Data Center Operations team is at the physical core of our business, responsible for building, maintaining, and operating the cutting-edge infrastructure that powers the cloud.
- Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability.
- Provide technical support to data center teams.
- Maintain inventory.
- Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment.

Requirements
- Linux Operating System experience.
- Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver in cramped or elevated spaces, such as under-floor areas or on ladders, to access server racks.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues.
- Candidates must be able to perform essential job duties in an environment with fluctuating temperatures and variable airflow - specifically within designated hot and cold aisles - ranging from 60°F to 90°F.

Compensation
- The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $83,000.
