About the role

- Each FTC is assigned a 'portfolio of primary responsibility' encompassing a designated assignment of single-family home units.
- The assigned territory will be primarily compromised of AMH communities' homes.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled home repairs and preventive maintenance during property visits.
- Conduct move-out inspections, manage tenant turns, and monitor contractor work to ensure compliance with timelines, costs, and quality standards.
- Inspect and maintain community amenities and buildings, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Perform inspections of homes and community areas, document maintenance needs, and report lease violations.
- Support move-out processes, including key exchanges, property condition assessments, and cost estimates for security deposit reconciliation.

Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in residential/property maintenance or related field
- Valid driver's license required.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools (e.g., cordless drill, impact driver, reciprocating saw, circular saw, pressure washer)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to climb ladders for tasks such as gutter cleaning and tree trimming.
- Proficiency with equipment such as wrenches, claw hammer, band cutters, wire strippers, breaker bar, clamps, etc.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- HVAC experience and Universal EPA Certification or HVAC Type II Certification preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as FiledOne, CRM systems, and Apple iPad preferred.
Compensation
- The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $27.42 to $34.28 Hourly.
- Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.
- The Company provides 9 paid holidays per year, and, upon hire, new employees will accrue paid time off (PTO) at a rate of 0.0577 hours of PTO per hour worked, up to a maximum of 120 hours per year.
