- As a Nutrition Associate, you will provide services to the participants in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, such as nutrition counseling and education, verification of eligibility, nutrition assessment, and education.
Requirements
- V alid Arizona driver's license is required upon hire
- Must pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
- Ability to exert 20-25 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10lbs. constantly
- After just 9 months of employment, our Nutrition Associates with a DPD-eligible bachelor's degree and some graduate degree coursework completed, can apply for our PAID WIC Track Dietetic Internship.
Compensation
- $21.50 - $25.63 hourly
- Full Range: $21.50 - $29.75 hourly
- Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.
- This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.
- This position may qualify for a $0.30 multilingual pay differential.

- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a similar program with nutrition-related coursework
- Associate's degree in Nutrition or a related degree program and credentialed with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as a Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR); OR DTR eligible with the ability to pass the credentialing exam within twelve months of hire, with the first attempt occurring within three months of hire
