Responsibilities
- Participate in internal and external design meetings to translate client's functional requirements into viable technical systems.
- Collaborate with Electrosonic Consultants during the design process to ensure that clients' needs are being met.
- Collaborate with Electrosonic Engineers during the deployment process to ensure that design intent is understood.
- The Solutions Designer's primary responsibility is the integrity of the solution design through the duration of a client engagement.
Requirements
- A technical degree (or equivalent work experience) in a related field.
- 2+ years as an audiovisual designer or 6+ years in other audiovisual roles.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to present ideas to creative clients and high-level executives.
- A working knowledge of audiovisual technology, show control systems, and media networks.
- In this role you will perform audio, video, and control design functions as required to support the sales, design, implementation, and support of custom audiovisual systems.
Nice to have
- AVIXA CTS and CTS-D Certification Working knowledge of software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, EASE.
- Familiarity with technology platforms such as Pixera, Q-SYS, and ISAAC.
- Ability to understand and write Division 27 Specifications.
