About the role
- FCP is a leading real estate investment company that has invested in or financed more than $13 billion in assets nationally since its founding in 1999.
- Associate to join our Washington, DC Investor Relations and Capital Formation team.
- FCP is currently investing its sixth investment fund, a $1.1B commingled, value-add discretionary fund.
Responsibilities
- Associate, you will support our clients and investment decisions by:
- Partnering cross functionally to create, proofread and format internal and external presentations
- The firm, based in Chevy Chase, MD, owns and manages in excess of $13 billion in assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with excellent academic credentials
- Excellent proficiency in modeling commercial real estate principles, market analysis, and valuation
- Ability to analyze qualitative data and quantitative information and translate and articulate ideas into strategic internal and external deliverables
- Ability to analyze GAAP financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Strong proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Three to five years of relevant work experience, within an investor relations, fund accounting, or fund management capacity at an alternative investment, placement agent, or investment consulting firm.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Nice to have
- Experience in commercial real estate is preferred.
- SIE, Series 7, 63 and 66 preferred or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Investran, preferred
