About the role

- Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Utility Assistant for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX.
- This position reports to the Shift Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Operates and adjusts various machines during operator breaks to maintain production continuity
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of work environment
- Monitors product quality and performs quality checks
- Supports production team members in various capacities
- Maintains compliance with safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Drug screening required
- Background check required
- Must be in good standing with no disciplinary action or attendance issues (Associates in Written or higher stage of counseling are not eligible to apply)
- Must have performer or higher rating in last review
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency including email
- Ability to accurately read and use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Strong time management capabilities
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Familiarity with safety protocols
- Basic mathematical skills
- Understanding of production processes and basic machine operations
