Responsibilities
- O-I has more than a century of experience crafting pure, sustainable, brand-building glass packaging for many of the world's best-known food and beverage brands.
- The Forming Process Specialist will provide technical support in order to produce high quality glass containers and coordinate improvements to maximize machine efficiency and performance.
Requirements
- Be responsible for job histories and machine set-ups to meet required KPIs and performance and quality goals.
- Experience tracking the performance of jobs and the ability to work with subject matter experts to determine root cause and corrective actions for low performance or poor quality.
- Experience with glass conditioning.
- High School diploma required.
- At least 5 years of related experience in IS glass machine forming process.
- Experience in glass manufacturing and bottle making, a technical background in glass manufacturing and plant processes is essential.
Compensation
- The expected salary range for this position is between $93,000 - $115,000 and includes a possible 12% short-term incentive bonus.
- Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
