Responsibilities

  • Moneris operates highly reliable, secure on‑premises infrastructure that supports Canada's leading payment processing platforms.
  • As an Infrastructure Automation Engineer (On‑Prem), you will be responsible for replacing repeatable manual infrastructure build and configuration work with standardized, automated delivery mechanisms across on‑prem systems and network domains.
  • You will design, build, and evolve automation that enables infrastructure teams to deploy and change environments through controlled, version‑driven workflows.
  • Replace manual infrastructure build and configuration processes with reusable automation.
  • Design standard automation patterns for network, system, and storage delivery.
  • Deliver infrastructure changes through automated, version‑controlled execution paths.
  • Develop and evolve a phased automation roadmap to reduce manual execution over time.
  • Build and maintain code‑driven automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
  • Partner with system administrators and operations engineers to validate and adopt automation.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including firewalls and load balancers.
  • Strong scripting experience with Python or similar languages.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $142,000 - $186,000.
