Responsibilities
- Perform assessments of warehouse layout, personnel, inventory counts, and various procedures at MRC Global warehouse operations.
- Provide warehouse personnel support as needed by assisting in the orienting, training, and evaluation of both new and old employees.
- Support safety by example and provide training when necessary to warehouse personnel.
- Support warehouse operations by assisting with and training new employees on shipping, receiving, put-away, and pipe yard processes.
- Maintain confidential information pertaining to supervisory duties, operations, and contract information.
- Assist in Handheld Scanner support and training.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Nice to have
- Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
- Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and to respond to inquiries.
- Ability to understand and comply with MRC Global guidelines and expectations, including the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.
