About the role
- Neuberger Private Debt is a leading private debt investment platform.
- Neuberger Private Debt focuses on performing first lien, senior secured loans to U.S. private equity-owned companies.
- The Private Debt team sits within Neuberger Alternatives, which has over $144 billion of investor commitments dedicated to private markets investing.
Responsibilities
- Lead legal documentation process (with oversight from SVPs depending on experience)
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, private or public credit investment funds, and/or private equity
- Minimum of 3 years of direct private credit / private equity experience
- Minimum of 5 years if VP candidate
- Strong quantitative abilities, including experience in financial modeling and valuation
- Must have strong judgment, critical thinking, and written skills
- ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form
- Show ability to multi-task with a fine-tuned attention to detail
- Excellent academic credentials (both undergraduate school and GPA)
- Minimum of 3 years of direct private credit / private equity experience; Minimum of 5 years if VP candidate
- Strong technical foundation in corporate finance and accounting
- Must have strong judgment, critical thinking, and written skills; ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form
- Demonstrate objectivity, integrity, accountability in investment recommendations
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity in approach to problem solving; demonstrated experience in conducting research and interacting with others to develop solutions
- Team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $185,000-$200,000.
- This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
- We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
- This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
- Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
- The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, production, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
