About the role
- The approximate base salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000.
- We consistently monitor external market data and update base salary ranges accordingly.
- In addition to our base salary offerings, we also provide equity grants for all new hires.
Responsibilities
- Design algorithms and quantum protocols suited to neutral atom platforms and collaborate with software and hardware teams on implementation.
- Collaborate with experimental teams to guide system design, interpret results, and validate models.
Requirements
- Proficiency with numerical tools (e.g., Python, Julia, QuTiP, or custom simulation code).
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with neutral atom platforms, including Rydberg physics, optical lattices, or tweezer arrays.
- Demonstrated expertise in theoretical modeling of atomic systems or quantum platforms.
- Experience with Hamiltonian simulation, variational quantum algorithms (VQAs), and quantum error correction.
- Experience in working across theory and application, including engagement with experimentalists and engineers.
- Interest in translating fundamental research into commercial quantum technologies.
