About the role
- WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is a project solutions organization committed to implementing lean constructions, collaborative contracting, and execution approaches to enable breakthroughs in performance.
- For qualified candidates outside the area, per diem and travel arrangements or relocation packages are ready to go.
- Each Construction Manager will provide direct onsite oversight of construction execution while leading safety, schedule performance, quality, contractor accountability, and field coordination.
Responsibilities
- WWPS is seeking two highly skilled and motivated Construction Managers to support the construction of a large-scale data center facility in La Porte, Indiana, approximately 40 minutes west of South Bend.
Requirements
- Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressive experience managing large scale commercial, industrial, mission critical, advanced manufacturing, or data center construction projects.
- Candidates for the Civil Lead position must have significant experience managing site development, earthwork, underground utilities, stormwater, roads, paving, site concrete, and related civil construction scopes.
- Candidates for the Vertical Construction Lead position must have significant experience managing structural, architectural, core and shell, building envelope, interior, and building systems construction.
- Candidates must demonstrate experience with field supervision, schedule management, quality control, contractor coordination, and issue resolution.
- Candidates must be able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, submittals, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management platforms such as Primavera P6, Procore, or similar systems is required.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem solving skills are required.
Nice to have
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent construction field experience will be considered.
- Data center or mission critical construction experience is strongly preferred.
- A working knowledge of lean construction and continuous improvement practices is preferred.
