About the role
- You will take ownership of cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, security, and operational excellence across enterprise AWS platforms.
- The position combines hands-on engineering with strategic architecture leadership, working across application, security, and reliability teams.
- You will help shape cloud adoption through modern DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and cost optimization initiatives.

Requirements
- The successful candidate will bring extensive cloud engineering experience, strong AWS expertise, and a deep understanding of modern infrastructure practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of cloud engineering experience, including at least three years working with AWS production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
- Proven experience designing and managing infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Experience operating Amazon EKS or ECS clusters in production environments.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, key management, and compliance requirements.
- Experience implementing cloud monitoring, observability, alerting, and reliability practices.
Nice to have
- Advanced scripting skills in Python and Bash, with familiarity with Go or PowerShell considered a plus.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
- Experience with AWS Organizations, centralized governance, service mesh technologies, zero-trust networking, and FinOps practices is a plus.
